UCR Hospital

The UCR Teaching Hospital at Canyon Springs is planned to be a 280 bed acute care hospital at complete buildout.

The hospital will be a general community hospital with a full range of services including obstetrics, surgery and general medicine. In addition, it will provide much-needed emergency department access and will allow for the transfer of patients who are in need of more specialized services such as trauma care, burns or cardiac surgery.

The hospital will enhance health service delivery to the Inland Empire Region and provide ready access for UCR medical students to residencies within a UCR Health facility serving as a major academic medical hub for the residents of the Inland Empire.
